Jia Li

I am originally from Myanmar and currently based in Chiang Dao, Northern Thailand. I’m mostly working with natural materials gathered through travel. After a decade of working in the IT industry, I shifted to choose life of clay two years ago. I create ceramic works from wild clay and develop watercolor pigments from stones, exploring how landscapes can be translated into form and color. My practice is rooted in slowness, touch, and a deep connection to material and place.
