Hello, I'm Jia Li.

I am a Myanmar-born artist and currently based in Nothern Thailand. I'm mostly working with clay, stone, and natural pigments gathered through travel. My practice is rooted in the transformation of earth into form and color, exploring how landscapes can be experienced through touch, making, and material.

Before becoming an artist, I spent more than ten years working in the IT industry. While I enjoyed solving problems and building things in the digital world, I gradually found myself drawn toward a slower and more tactile way of creating. Two years ago, I began working with clay, and through the simple act of shaping earth by hand, I discovered a deeper connection to nature, place, and myself.
